Problem with cvs war

Ulrike Schmidt
Today I had a problem with a transform on eXist-1.0b2-build-1107.war. So
I made a build dist-war with the cvs version I downloaded the other day,
which is running fine on my localhost and does not have these problems.
The result  of my building attempts (I know little about Java, but there
was no error message) was called "exist-20051021.war".

When I uploaded it to tomact it first seemed to run, I could connect to
it with the client and create a collection and edit users, but it was
not possible to upload a file.

So I stopped and restarted exist. It took ages to restart and now the
client cannot not connect to the server anymore, I get a 500 Error:

XMLDBException occurred while retrieving collection: Server returned

Err... if your war file is called "exist-20051021.war", it is likely
that everything happens in the "exist-20051021" context.

Don't you have 2 concurrent versions in your webapps directory ?

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

p.b.

Before I uploaded it I renamed it to exist.war

I undeployed the old version before uploading the new, there is
currently only one version on the server.

Thanks, Uli
